MALLORCA TRAVEL GUIDE

In August 2026, I traveled to Mallorca in search of places that shared YOLIÉ's sensibility: galleries, small designer shops, and corners where handmade and Mediterranean coexist peacefully.
What began as a getaway to explore the island turned into a journey full of discoveries that I fell in love with. This guide is born from that experience: a personal journey through Palma, Deià, and the northeast of the island, with my favorite places to shop, eat, get lost, and swim.
I hope it inspires you for your next getaway to Mallorca.

Art as a starting point
Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation
My first stop was Palma, where I visited the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation. I was captivated to glimpse the intimacy of his creative space: to think about the amount of works, thoughts, and feelings Miró must have created within those walls. And how much I long to someday have my own space, where I can let all my creativity flow.
It gave me hope to know that I am not too late. Everyone has their own pace, and Miró took decades to make his dream a reality: the definitive creative workshop designed for him by his friend, the architect Josep Lluís Sert, in 1956. There he worked tirelessly until the last years of his life.

Where to buy:
If you are looking for shops and galleries with soul, Deià is the place. A small and beautiful village where the most charming spaces are almost door to door.
Nexus Deià
This place was love at first sight. Every corner is taken care of with exquisite taste: Balearic fashion and artisan products chosen by Luca, who is charming. Here I discovered the brand Palo, and I couldn't resist taking home this spectacular dress.
De Haan Gallery Studio
The most special ceramics in all of Mallorca are in this studio, with the workshop integrated within. Here you can see, and feel, the process behind each piece, something that deeply resonates with us at YOLIÉ.
Panela Art Studio
Panela is the studio of Jasmin Riva, who greeted me with a smile and invited me to discover her paintings. Delicate, warm, just like her. An intimate space where art breathes and where it's a pleasure to get lost for a while among her works.
Obsoleto Colectivo
A concept store where furniture with a history, timeless objects, and fashion coexist peacefully. A space that invites you to slow down, one of those places that's hard to leave.
In Palma, I stopped at two charming places where I could choose meaningful pieces, and in Cala Rajada, I visited Homine, where you'll find the Zon&Zee handbag brand.
Sebbi
Next to Palma Cathedral, I found Sebbi. A concept store created by the charming Dutchwoman Vivi, who served me in the most personalized way possible. It's special both for the fashion curated and for the experiences it creates in a corner designed for a coffee and slowing down.
Rialto Living
After a hot day, Rialto Living seemed like the perfect spot to cool down with a chilled sparkling water. It has a lovely indoor café, under a large skylight, and is one of Palma’s most iconic lifestyle stores—fashion, home décor, and art to choose your gifts before leaving Palma.
Man
Once you're in Cala Rajada, you'll find the Zon&Zee handbag brand at Homine: handcrafted leather goods made in Ubrique, Spain, the kind of pieces that last a lifetime.
Where to eat:
El Perrito
The Santa Catalina area, in Palma, is the most charming neighborhood for breakfast or brunch. Everything here is super delicious.
Sa Font Fresca
In Deià, we ate at Sa Font Fresca, which offers spectacular views and a Mediterranean menu that makes it hard to choose: everything is delicious.
Coffee at Belmond
And I couldn't leave without visiting the Belmond La Residencia hotel, in Deià, for a coffee with a view. Inside, it hides a small but very special shop.
Nou Segle 12:
In the middle of Capdepera square, at the foot of the castle, is the restaurant of my friend Cristina and her husband Michael. We ate and dined here many days of the trip: you don't know how delicious everything is.
Flavors of Mallorca:
Don't leave the island without trying its most authentic flavors: sweet (ensaïmada, rubiols, crespells) and savory (sobrassada, coca de trampó, tumbet, arròs brut).
